Grilled Vegetable Recipes
You can prepare a wide variety of your favorite vegetables for the grill. To start out, preheat the grill. Wash vegetables and pat dry. Spread on olive oil to the vegetables so they don't stick to the grill and you can also spray the grill with non stick cooking spray. After you oil them, put on your favorite seasonings. You can make a foil pan out of foil and put them in there on a medium-high heat grill (350 degrees). Remember to cut all of them evenly so they all cook the same. You can also put them on bamboo skewers and turn a quarter of a turn until each side gets toasted. You can grill bigger vegetables directly on the grill. Watch over vegetables so that they don't get burnt. They are finished when they are squishy and crisp.
Another great vegetable recipe is for a stuffed tomato. You core out the tomato and put your favorite spices and cheeses. Lightly dot the bottom with butter or slather with olive oil. Cook them for about 10 minutes over medium-high heat until skin on the tomato starts peeling.
A good tip for grilling corn on the cob is to pull husk back and remove all of the silk threads. Then spread on olive oil or melted butter. Then season with garlic and salt or your favorite seasonings. Put the husk back. Then put them on a medium heat grill, turn the corn a quarter of a turn each time until they are toasted. It usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
A easy way to cook vegetables is to steam the vegetables in a pan instead of grilling them. Place in a foil pan with some of your favorite seasonings and a coating of margarine with about a 1/2 an inch of water. Then cover the pan with foil and steam covered vegetables for approximately 30-35 minutes on a medium-high heat grill or in an oven at (350 degrees). Cook until you can smell them and they are squishy and crisp, then enjoy.
