Grilled Cinnamon Pears

  2 large ripe Pears
  4 tablespoons of canola oil
  1 tablespoon brown sugar or brown sugar substitute
  1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  1 teaspoon nutmeg

Preheat grill for medium heat. Oil grill grate. Cut apples in half from the top and remove seed. Spread oil on the cut side then sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon. Place them face down in the pan or grill grate and cover with remaining oil and spices.Then cook for ten minutes over medium direct heat. When they are are soft remove from heat and serve warm.

Grilled Honey Nectarines

  2 medium Nectarines, halved and pitted
  2 tablespoons honey or honey substitute
  4 tablespoon of canola oil
  1 teaspoon nutmeg
  1 teaspoon cinnamon


Preheat grill for medium heat. Brush nectarines with oil. Place peach halves on a grill grate or a pan and cook uncovered for 9-10 minutes. Brush with honey during cooking process. Remove from grill and allow to cool. Serve sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Grilled Fruit with Yogurt


1 pineapple, cored and sliced into 8 wedges
2 kiwis, peeled and cut into 8 wedges
4 tablespoons of canola oil
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Preheat grill to medium heat. Lightly brush fruit with oil and place on grill grate or a pan. Cook until pineapple and kiwis are nicely caramelized, turning once, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and place on a plate. Place 2 rings and 4 kiwi wedges on each plate and drizzle with yogurt and place chopped nuts on top.

Grilled Strawberries and Bananas With Ice Cream

2 tbsp lime juice
4 tbsp canola oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
2 cups strawberries with tops cut off and halved
1 banana, sliced  into 1/2-inch slices


Heat a grill to medium heat. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, canola oil, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add strawberries and bananas, then gently mix them in. Put strawberries and bananas onto 5 skewers. Save the remaining sauce in the bowl. Oil grill grate. Grill skewered fruit for 2 to 3 minutes, covered. Use a brush to brush the tops of the skewered fruit with any remaining sauce, then turn once. Grill covered for another 2 to 3 minutes. If skewers stick to the grill, use a thin spatula to lift them.
Remove fruit from the skewers and use them to top  lactose free ice cream.

Banana Sundae with Ice Cream
 
2 tablespoons of canola oil
Bananas
chocolate chips
peanut butter chips
marshmallows
chopped nuts
pan



Pre-heat grill to medium heat. Slice bananas down the center, oil and leave the peel on. Place marshmallows and chocolate, peanut butter chips down in the center of the banana. Place banana slices in the pan and place on grill or on indoor stove top and cook for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm over lactose free ice cream and top with chopped nuts. Enjoy!

Grilled Honey-Glazed Cinnamon Apples
 

4 tablespoons of canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
3 tablespoons honey or honey substitute
4 apples, cored and sliced 1/4-inch thick


  Spread oil and honey on slices then
place slices on a medium pre-heated grill grate. Grill apple slices for about 5 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over them and serve warm.

Grilled Plum and Kiwi Skewers


5 ripe medium plums (quartered)
5 kiwis (quartered)
1/4 cup of honey or honey substitute
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
 4 tablespoons of canola oil
water soaked bamboo skewers

First pre-heat grill for medium heat then oil grill grate. Second oil quartered slices and place on bamboo skewers.
Grill on a grill grate for about ten minutes while turning frequently spread on honey during cooking process. Then remove from heat and sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon. Serve warm and enjoy.

Grilled Watermelon and Yogurt

4 cups of watermelon cubes (buy packaged watemelon cubes or cube them yourself)
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
4 tablespoons of canola oil
1 container of yogurt

First pre-heat grill for medium heat then oil a pan . Second place pan on grill or indoor stove Grill  watermelon cubes for about five minutes while turning frequently. Then remove from heat and sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg and serve with yogurt in a bowl.
