Top of page Grilled Spinach And Cheese Turkey Burgers 1 pound of ground turkey 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder 4 slices of (preferably lactose free or organic-tempeh or miso soy) jack cheese 1/2 cup finely grated carrot 1 egg whites 1/2 small package of unthawed frozen chopped spinach 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon of salt 4 whole wheat preferably low carb-tempeh or miso soy hamburger buns In a large bowl using clean hands mix all ingredients together until they are all combined. Gently shape into 8 patties. Place the patties into a container. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours. Grill burgers over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes on each side until they reach 165 degrees internal temperature. Let rest for ten minutes, place the patties into buns, then enjoy. Top of page Grilled Chicken Burger 12 ounces chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, pounded thin ½ finely chopped onion 2 tablespoons of minced garlic 1/4 cup of lemon juice 1/4 cup of orange juice 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Salt and pepper to taste 4 tablespoon mayonnaise 4 teaspoon mustard Tomato slices 1 ripe avocado sliced Onion slices Lettuce leaves 4 whole wheat preferably low carb-tempeh or miso soy hamburger buns Mix the orange juice, lemon juice, oil, garlic, chopped onion and cilantro in the container. Place the chicken breasts in a container and marinate both sides for 30 minutes. Grill the chicken for 8 minutes on a grill. Turn once and cook for another 8 minutes.
